Thanks to recent innovations, solar power is now one of the most affordable and reliable ways to generate electricity.​

 

It’s no longer just for large-scale solar farms—households and businesses are increasingly harnessing the sun through rooftop panels and smaller solar devices, taking control of their energy and reducing their carbon footprint.

Our solar farms bring this clean energy to a larger scale. At Hulam & Sheraton in Hartlepool, rows of ground-mounted solar panels, made from high-efficiency photovoltaic (PV) cells, are carefully positioned to capture the maximum sunlight. 

​​

The result? A generation capacity of up to 49 MW AC—enough electricity to power around 20,000 homes every year.

 

But it’s not just about numbers. By feeding clean electricity into the grid, this project will cut over 11,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide annually—helping to combat climate change and support a cleaner, greener future for our communities.​​
