TMS Grid and HyperStrong Announce Strategic Partnership to Accelerate UK Battery Storage Deployment

TMS Grid Limited has formed a strategic partnership with HyperStrong, a leading global manufacturer of advanced battery energy storage systems, marking a significant step forward in the delivery of large-scale energy storage infrastructure across the UK.

TMS Grid Limited is proud to announce that we has entered into a strategic partnership with HyperStrong, one of the world’s foremost manufacturers of battery energy storage technology. The agreement unites TMS Grid’s proven track record as a UK-based ICP and EPC contractor with HyperStrong’s cutting-edge storage systems, forming a collaboration built to meet the growing demand for energy storage infrastructure across the country.

The partnership was confirmed at a strategic planning meeting held at London office in Leadenhall, where CEO Peter Eagle and Managing Director Ewan Borthwick sat down with HyperStrong’s Kai Wang to align on project strategy and delivery plans for the year ahead.

This partnership puts us in a strong position to offer developers and investors a genuinely end-to-end solution, from grid connection through to operational storage asset.

The collaboration is designed to bring together two complementary sets of expertise under one roof. TMS Grid’s capabilities in grid connection, engineering, procurement, and construction combine with HyperStrong’s world-class battery storage technology to create a more streamlined, integrated delivery model for BESS projects in the UK.

The goal is straightforward: to make it easier and faster for developers, utilities, and investors to get battery storage projects built, commissioned, and operational, with fewer handoffs and less risk along the way.

Why this matters for the UK energy market

The UK’s battery storage sector is growing rapidly. As the country works towards its clean energy targets, grid-scale battery storage is playing an increasingly important role in balancing supply and demand and supporting the integration of renewable generation.

One of the persistent challenges for developers has been the complexity of coordinating grid connections alongside the procurement and delivery of storage assets. Delays in either workstream can knock the other off course. A partnership that brings together grid connection expertise and battery storage technology under one roof is designed to address exactly that challenge.
